It treats domestic wastewater from homes with a constant flow rate of up to 1000 liters / day and a CBO5 load of 0.3 kg / day. The station is designed in a bicameral polyethylene basin with a total volume of 3000 liters, with dimensions 2650 x 1400 x1760 mm, 192 kg – the first compartment works as a buffer volume and for decanting, and the second compartment is used for wastewater treatment. In the 2nd compartment is mounted a pontoon-type polyethylene support supported by the walls of the basin by means of chains on which they are mounted: – 1 aeration pump that ensures the bubbling of the air and the dissolution of the oxygen necessary for the population of microorganisms that decompose organic substances into primary components, – 1 supply pump that transfers sludge from the treatment compartment to the first compartment and ensures through its body the transfer of water into the treatment compartment based on the principle of communicating vessels, – 1 pump discharges treated water. the minimum and maximum flotation height of the pontoon with pumps are set so as to cover the calculated water flow the entire process is ordered and supervised by a microprocessor, mounted in a control panel. The panel has a display with process parameters, reset cycle button and an RS232 connector for connection to the PC or programming console. On the display is presented the current phase and the current state of the equipment. There are implemented functions of self-diagnosis of equipment status and automatic recovery from operating errors. Installed power 300 W, Power consumption – depending on the charge 500 – 2000 W / day. The treatment plant operates on the principle of SBR (sequenting batch reactor), using a combination of treatment with activated sludge and physical separation by settling. This is achieved in 4 operating cycles / 24 hours, each in 4 stages: 1 – Supply – From the first compartment is transferred on the principle of communicating vessels domestic water. 2 – Treatment – With the supply begins the operation of the aeration pump. Thus, the air necessary for biological purification is introduced into the wastewater. Due to the pontoon system, a homogenization of the water is also ensured. The aeration stages are alternated with breaks to ensure nitrification-denitrification in optimal conditions. 3 – Sedimentation – Aeration is stopped allowing the solid suspensions to settle at the bottom of the tank. in the upper area only clear water remains. 4 – Evacuation – The clear water is discharged from the station with the exhaust pump. After the evacuation operation is completed, the supply pump will transfer the sludge from the treatment compartment to the first compartment, after which the treatment cycle is resumed. Holiday regime: If in the supply stage the water intake from the first compartment is not detected, the station goes on vacation. Aeration is done in shorter and more frequent cycles to keep the bacteria alive. No water is discharged from the system. The station automatically switches to normal operation as soon as water intake has been detected from the first ATENTIE compartment! The plant can only treat domestic wastewater. The water accumulated in the station should not contain chemicals that can harm the population of bacteria. It is not allowed to supply the station with: industrial wastewater, rainwater or recirculated waters from swimming pools, waters containing aggressive chemical agents, oil residues, oils, etc. AquaClean wastewater treatment plants correspond to the performances imposed by EN 12566-3:2005/A1:2009.
